Paul Seo
Secretary
Paul is an avid believer in the importance of solidarity between peers. He understands the importance for peers to navigate beyond barriers, be they physical, cultural or otherwise, to achieve said solidarity. He has garnered experience and skills in connecting with peers, mainly through education, as he has been on both the giving and receiving end of advising and counselling others as they complete their secondary or tertiary studies.
Paul values the potential DDA holds in its mission to support peers. He appreciates the ongoing efforts at DDA for peers from diverse ages, ethnicities and abilities to find common ground and benefit from one another. Within DDA’s Board, he hopes to utilise his experiences, perspective and skills to ensure a smoother running of the organisation’s affairs, in conjunction with his other duties in mentoring and facilitation.
Currently, Paul is completing a Masters of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of New South Wales. He specialises in teaching Mathematics and Modern History, and is an English tutor at the Sydney Debating College.
His interests involve science fiction, tabletop gaming, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
