Who is it for?
Introduction to Peer Support training is the first level of training available at DDAlliance. It for people who are new to DDAlliance, new to peer support, or would like to refresh their understanding of peer support.
What will you learn?
Introduction to Peer Support training covers the principles of peer support and provides the foundation for you to start practicing peer support. In it we cover:
- What is peer support?
- Building a peer movement
- Skills for peer support
Duration of this course?
Introduction to Peer Support training usually runs for 3 session which are 2 hours each (online). This can sometimes change depending on if the training is running online or in person
