My name is Nidhi Shekaran, Born in Indian parents, lived in New Zealand and India and understands barriers from a cultural view points. Also barriers faced as a woman and lived with physical disability and vision impairement.
I also understand Stigmas and been excluded from society and learning to prove myself at every stage of life. I want an inclusive world where we are not asked how to do we support you to feel included, it is naturally understood because of our knowledge and awareness of our disabilities.
I have worked in City of Sydney Council inclusion advisory panel for six years and offered an advice on transport at building access and employment other policies.
I promote social inclusion at my everyday life, I have also done Podcast in my native language Hindi with speak my language (Disability) And have an interested fundraising mental health generally. I also have interest in Fundraising and mental health
I’m a peer mentor and a peer facilitator, I also was part of the policy Review team and am a peer facilitator and a Board member of MDAA.
