As an ally and advocate, she is driven to ensure that people with disability from multicultural backgrounds have ample opportunities to enrich our society.

With over a 20-year tenure in the disability sector, Mirella’s commitment remains unwavering. Her decision to join the DDAlliance Board was motivated by a firm belief in the fundamental rights of individuals with disability to lead fulfilling lives. She is particularly drawn to supporting DDA, an organisation that champions the peer-to-peer approach, recognising its efficacy in empowering individuals within the community.

Demonstrating her dedication to the disability sector, Mirella actively participates in several committees dedicated to raising awareness and enhancing outcomes for people with disability. In her current role as the NSW/ACT Community Engagement and Partnerships Manager at My Plan Manager, Mirella finds fulfillment not only in her professional responsibilities but also in her role as a devoted Zia (aunt) to Giselle and Orlando.
